Dill Pickle Chex Mix Recipe

Dill Pickle Chex Mix – My all-time favorite Chex Mix, Chex cereals, bagel chips, pretzel sticks, and cashews are coated with pickled butter and ranch herbs and baked until crispy and delicious.

This is one among the favourite things I even have been making for an extended time. This is an excellent simple recipe and great for small helpers because it involves tons of stirring.

Ingredient

  • 1 (1 ounce) dry Livestock seasoning package
  • 1 tbsp dill pickled juice (from pickle jar)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 tbsp dry fennel
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 cups corn cereal or chex rice
  • 2 cups bagel chips
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, bagel chips, pretzel sticks, and cashews.
  3. In a separate small bowl, beat together the butter, seasonings, pickled juice, dried fennel and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir gently to form sure everything is coated.
  5. Transfer to an outsized , framed baking sheet.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every quarter-hour .
  7. Transfer the Chex MIx to parchment paper or aluminium foil to chill them completely before serving and storing.
  8. Store in an airtight container at temperature for up to 2 weeks.
