- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Italian loaf of bread dig 1/2 inch slices
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- In a small bowl, combine the butter, chopped garlic, garlic powder, parsley and parmesan cheese.
- Slice the Italian bread into 1/2 inch slices, and spread the butter mixture over each portion.
- Place on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with a touch peppers.
- Bake for 10 minutes until the butter mixture is melted, and therefore the bread is lightly toasted.
- Remove from oven, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese
- Turn the oven to bake, and return the bread to the oven, bake until the cheese is melted, and therefore the edges are golden brown.
